Sanctuary Cove Comes Together For Charity

Sanctuary Cove’s annual charity event, ‘Live & Local’ will be held on Friday 3 December raising funds for Connect Community + Kids.

For the third year running, Roger Braun, owner of Captain Nemo’s Pool, Spa and Marine Shop, has united the community to host a sold-out event at Sanctuary Cove raising funds for worthy charities with an entertaining line up of local personalities.

Former St Kilda, Hawthorn and Sydney ruckman Peter ‘Spida’ Everitt will return as MC leading a celebrated crew of entertainers including Australian country music singer-songwriter and guitarist Lee Kernaghan OAM, comedian and former cricketer Greg Ritchie and illusionist Matt Hollywood.

The funds raised on the day will be donated to Connect Community + Kids a charity who strive to put an end to the cycle of intergenerational cycle disadvantage within the community through the power of mentoring. Their aim is to ensure that all children within the community have the chance to live happy, healthy, safe and fulfilled lives.

The event coincides with the launch of Connect Community + Kids Gold Coast hub in late 2021.

The Live & Local Charity Event will be hosted at Sanctuary Cove’s premier Italian restaurant, Ioesco presenting a specially curated three-course menu by owner and head chef, Max Alfieri.

More than $50,000 has been raised to date at these charity lunches since 2019, supporting Act For Kids, Drought Angles and Livin’.
