What’s New at Sanctuary Cove

10 September 2021

It’s been an exciting few months at Sanctuary Cove, with new restaurants and retailers opening; and the already comprehensive dining and retail offering expanding. There’s never been a better time to eat, drink and shop at Sanctuary Cove, so get the low-down on who’s moved in and who you should be checking out during your next visit!

Destino Wine & Cocktail Bar

They had us at “wine & cocktail bar”… Destino is the new kid on the block, shaking insta-worthy cocktails that look as good as they taste! Their menu pays homage to a holiday on the Greek islands, which, in 2021, we are welcoming with open arms. Cocktails like a Mykonos Mule, Santorini Spritz and Destino Aperol Spritz will have you feeling like you’re far far away from after work drinks, and on a never ending vacation instead. Meditteranean flavours flow through to their food menu, offering tapas style share plates and charcuterie boards. The Destino team have sourced meats, cheeses and antipasti elements from all over the world, bringing you a deliciously authentic dining experience. Live music sets the tone every Saturday, so head to their website to see who’s playing and book a table!

Scooping up over 24 flavours of creamy, artisan gelato, Rosé Gelateria will be your afternoon, after dinner or girls night in go-to! Kick back and immerse yourself in the dreamy blush and gold fitout, whileyou lick traditional, dairy free and plant based flavours. Classics like chocolate hazelnut and zesty lemon will always be a winner, however if you’re keen to try something different, Italian pistachio, rock salt caramel and vegan mascarpone may tickle your fancy. The hardest decision won’t be which flavour you choose, or whether it’s in a cup or a cone.. it’ll be what else you purchase, with shelves stocked with local wares from a number of Australian small businesses. Fresh bread and pastries, locally roasted coffee, naturopathically formulated tea and handmade confectionery will make your visit extra sweet. Rosé Gelareria’s menu of flavours and products is vast and constantly evolving, so be sure to pop in and see what’s on the scoop. Visit their page for more information.
