29 October 2020
SANCTUARY COVE’S CAROLS ON THE GREEN
The Sanctuary Cove Carols have now SOLD OUT.
Christmas Carols are set to fill the air at Sanctuary Cove, as locals sing along to their favourite Christmas songs at the annual Carols on the Green on Thursday 3rd December at 5.00pm.
Set in two new locations, The Marina Lawn and Docks precincts will come alive as the Sanctuary Cove community gathers for a night under the stars to raise funds for local charities.
The Marina Lawn will host the live stage performances and The Docks precinct will screen a live feed of the event to ensure as many locals as possible can join in the celebrations.
A stellar line up of local performers will sing on the night including the Paradise Carollers, Amazon Blue and Vanessa Krummenacher and the event will include the much loved and celebrated Rotary Buggy Parade. This family-friendly event will conclude with a special appearance by Santa and Rudolf.
Attendees can book a $25 family ticket for up to 5 people for The Main Stage or a $20 family ticket for up to 5 people in The Docks. All proceeds will be donated to a chosen charity, with one of them being Act for Kids. Guests are asked to maintain safe social distancing between other groups and numbers will be strictly limited to adhere to COVID Safe regulations.
The Christmas spirit will continue in the marina-front precinct with interactive displays to be scattered throughout The Marine Village which will provide the perfect backdrop for festive photos including Santa’s Sleigh, Christmas Tree, Gift Box and specially themed Christmas Window.
While visiting shop amongst a relaxed waterfront ambience and tick off that shopping list with ease. With an abundance of unique gifts, local and international labels and designer brands, all in the one location, you’re spoilt for choice with some 30 retailers to choose from.
The Marine Village is the perfect place for festive gatherings with friends, family or work colleagues in any one of the acclaimed dining venues. Whether it’s breakfast or brunch, a long lazy lunch, or afternoon drinks that lead into dinner, the charming Village provides an unforgettable ambience for any event.

Act for Kids
Act for Kids is an Australian charity working tirelessly to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect. There are 28 centres located across the nation where we provide life-changing therapy to kids, who have suffered abuse or neglect as well as families who are struggling. In 2019-2020, Act for Kids helped nearly 45,000 children, carers and families, who have benefited from our services. (Source – Act for Kids annual review 2019-2020)
Act for Kids covers a large geographical region on the Gold Coast with two of our busiest centres located at Labrador and Varsity Lakes.
Our dedicated team help children and families through Integrated Therapy Services, Intensive Family Support, Assessment and Service Connect; a short-term support service for families involved in a Child Safety Investigation, Safe care and the Flourish program.
We also offer education services, including a protective behaviours program “Learn to be Safe with Emmy and Friends,” which is helping early age children learn the tools to seek help when they don’t feel safe. The Gold Coast team worked with more than 5000 children last year alone. Sadly, that includes 85 kids, who benefited from our Sexual Abuse Counselling Service.
