Winter Dining at Sanctuary Cove

1 June 2020

As restrictions start to ease, we are being invited back with a very warm welcome to our favourite restaurants for winter dining at Sanctuary Cove (with safe social distancing of course!) Here are a few of our favourites!

Dragon Cove

Warm up this winter and treat yourself to authentic Chinese dishes and dumplings (we can highly recommend the Xiao Long Bao!). For something really special, try the chef’s Peking Duck, cooked fresh and carved at your table!

Ioesco

Boasting an indulgent modern Italian and Mediterranean menu! Try their baby octopus pan fried with tomato, chilli, garlic and black olives as your entrée. Follow this with their risotto di agnello – arborio rice with tender de-boned lamb shank in a tomato style sauce. Then, complete your meal with their delectable tiramisu coffee marsala soaked sponge, layered with sweet mascarpone cheese cream.

Jonez on Food

Using the finest seasonal ingredients and classical French technique to create a contemporary Australian menu, this is the place from a perfect winter evening. We recommend starting with the twice baked Goats Cheese souffle, followed by the slow braised beef cheeks with a glass of red from their extensive wine menu!

Georges Paragon

An institution in south-east Queensland, George’s Paragon has an extensive menu of the freshest seafood. To make sure you can try as much as possible, we suggest you go with one of George’s selections of 3 course menus!

Cove Tavern

Enjoy a winter meal under the festoon lighting at Cove Tavern. Enjoy a 250g rump steak, drizzled in mushroom sauce and served with thick cut chips while you sip on a 4 Pines Pale Ale!

Artichoke

Offering a relaxed atmosphere with waterside dining, Artichoke offers a modern Australian & European cuisine. Why not start with the Duck Tarte Tatin before indulging in the 17-Hour Slow Cooked Beef wrapped in prosciutto. Finish off with a Belgian Chocolate Espresso Martini.

Thai House

Indulge in their selection of traditional Thai and Asian inspired meals. Warm yourself from the inside with their Prawn Tom Yum Soup to start, followed by a whole steamed snapper with ginger sauce!

Looking for something a little more casual? We have you covered as well! Why not try Sushi Break, Bistro 19, Quay Street Café, George’s Pizzeria or Pier B Café!

Have we got your taste buds salivating? Enjoy winter dining at Sanctuary Cove today!
