SUNDAY SOUNDS RETURNS RETRO
Sanctuary Cove will take guests back in time as free live music fills The Village Green for Sunday Sounds Retro on Sunday, June 24 from 12:30pm to 5pm.
With live music, family entertainment and an idyllic alfresco atmosphere, Sanctuary Cove locals and visitors alike are invited to pack their picnic rugs and enjoy take away from one of the many Marine Village restaurants while enjoying a fantastic, free afternoon out on the grassy expanses.
This years’ event boasts a jam-packed afternoon of live music from Miss Mandy Swings and Sebastiaan and the Retrospects, plus roving retro characters and children’s activities.
Crowd-favourite Miss Mandy Swings returns to Sanctuary Cove with her six-piece band and collection of dazzling 1940-inspired costumes to perform her collection of tributes from Bette Midler, Judy Garland, Liza Minelli and Ella Fitzgerald.
After Miss Mandy, headliner Sebastiaan and the Retrospects will take the stage to transport guests back to when swing was a thing with their eclectic mix of swing, jazz, rock n roll and ballads from Frank, Dean and Roy, Elvis along with some Nat King Cole.
