Sanctuary Cove Takes Home Udia Mitchell Brandtman Award
MULPHA Sanctuary Cove was recently honoured among the state’s leading developers, winning the coveted Mitchell Brandtman Award in the ‘Masterplanned Development’ category at the 2017 Urban Development Institute of Australia Queensland Awards for Excellence.
The UDIA QLD Awards for Excellence program is one of the State’s most respected and valued industry awards programs, highlighting industry leaders and showcasing innovation and excellence.
Renowned internationally as Australia’s most successful master-planned community, Sanctuary Cove is located on Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast.
Sanctuary Cove placed ahead of its contemporaries for its highly prized and aspirational residential offering, featuring the amenity of the bustling Marine Village and sparkling Marina, along with two world-class golf courses and the five-star InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort.
Sanctuary Point and Sanctuary Pines residential precincts, which feature some of the last prime waterfront and golf course fronting lots, met with enthusiastic market demand upon their release earlier this year.
Mulpha Sanctuary Cove construction and property manager Mathew Williams said the award win was particularly significant, as Sanctuary Cove enters the final phase to complete its historic program of major capital works and deliver the masterplan that gave birth to the iconic development almost 30 years ago.
“We are thrilled with the results from the 2017 UDIA awards, and honoured the esteemed judging panel has recognised the continued commitment of Mulpha Australia Ltd to invest in the future of Sanctuary Cove,” Mr Williams said.
More than $35 million has been injected into development works at the resort-style estate over the past two years, as astute purchasers have rushed to secure their place in the exclusive golf and marina resort community, as Sanctuary Cove continues a record-breaking year of land sales reaching more than $60 million.
Established in 1994, the UDIA (Qld) Awards for Excellence seeks out people and projects that go beyond the built environment to create developments and places that nurture successful communities.
